Hungarians negative about health care - Ipsos
Budapest, June 12 (MTI) - Hungarians have experienced mostly negative changes in health care over the past five years, research institute Ipsos said on Wednesday, citing the results of an international survey.
Budapest, June 12 (MTI) - Hungarians have experienced mostly negative changes in health care over the past five years, research institute Ipsos said on Wednesday, citing the results of an international survey.
Some 40 percent of Hungarians said access to health services had become more difficult since 2008 and only 20 percent reported an improvement. Negative developments were reported, especially with regard to access to diagnostic examinations, visiting specialists and getting hospital treatment. Opinions were mixed about to GPs services and drug supplies.
Of the fifteen countries where Ipsos carried out its health care survey, Hungary stands in 14th place in terms of patient satisfaction. The participating countries were Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Hungary, Poland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the US.
