Hungary budget deficit reaches 82.3pc of modified full-year target in Jan-Nov

Budapest, December 7 (MTI) - Hungary had a cash flow-based budget surplus, excluding local councils, of 79.9 billion forints (EUR 266.3m) in November, bringing the January-November deficit to 1,247.9 billion forints, or 82.3 percent of the modified full-year target, the National Economy Ministry said in a preliminary report on Wednesday.

Budapest, December 7 (MTI) - Hungary had a cash flow-based budget surplus, excluding local councils, of 79.9 billion forints (EUR 266.3m) in November, bringing the January-November deficit to 1,247.9 billion forints, or 82.3 percent of the modified full-year target, the National Economy Ministry said in a preliminary report on Wednesday.

The ministry projects the full-year deficit to be in line with the modified target of 1,517.1 billion forints.

 

The projection translates into a December deficit of 269 billion forints.

 

The ministry said 219.2 billion forints in realised revenue from the Pension Reform and Debt Reduction Fund contributed in significant measure to the surplus in November.
