Suspected anti-Semitic vandals arrested

Budapest, May 26 (MTI) – The police have arrested two men in connection with Holocaust memorials recently vandalised in Budapest, the municipal police reported on Saturday.

The two men are suspected of having spray-painted anti-Semitic slogans on two Holocaust monuments in Budapest’s district 13 and damaging a memorial paying tribute to Soviet troops liberating Budapest in WWII in the inner city.


The suspects have denied the charges and filed a complaint against the accusations.
