Patriotism and Progress elects Bajnai leader

Budapest, October 26 (MTI) – The Patriotism and Progress Association has elected Gordon Bajnai, Hungary’s former prime minister, its chairman, and Viktor Szigetvari as vice-chairman, the association told MTI in a statement on Friday.

The association’s founding assembly, held on October 18, elected former finance minister Peter Oszko as the third member of the board, the statement said.


The fifteen founding members of Patriotism and Progress include former foreign minister Peter Balazs, former justice minister Peter Barandy, former head of the Banking Association Peter Felcsuti, and former editor-in-chief of national daily Nepszabadsag Karoly T. Voros.
