POLL - Hungarians unhappy with economic situation

<p>Budapest, August 11 (MTI) - Ninety percent of respondents in a recent survey said the economic situation in the country was "bad" or "very bad", according to a report by the Ipsos group sent to MTI on Wednesday.</p>

Only 8 percent of all Hungarian respondents said the situation was "good" or "very good", compared to the international average of 39 percent, the report said.

    Ipsos conducted its survey in 24 countries and found that India s people were the most satisfied, 85 percent saying that their economy was doing well. The ratio of happy respondents was above 60 percent in China, Australia, Saudi-Arabia, Brazil, Canada and Sweden.

    The survey also indicated that Spaniards and the French were even more critical than Hungarians, only five and six percent of respondents voicing a favourable opinion, respectively.
