Leonardo da Vinci’s Flying man at the entrance of the Modem
Debrecen – Leonardo da Vinci’s Flying man was installed over the entrance of the Modem on Friday. Also Leonardo’s horse statue Colossus was built at the Baltazár Dezső Square on Saturday.

Flying man was displayed on Friday at the entrance of the Modem Museum of Modern Art. The real model is a part of the Real Da Vinci exhibition. (” The Mind of Leonardo” will be presented to the Hungarian public under the title “Az igazi Da Vinci”.)

„It is interesting, that the mock-up was made from cardboard by a boy from Miskolc called Károly Kovács. This will also be shown to the public.”- says Gábor Gulyás, the director of Modem.

The pieces of Colossus arrived on Friday together with the Flying man. They started to set up the sculpture on Saturday morning. There was no possibility to store the pieces in the Modem, so it was transported to the customs yard, where there was enough place for it. This didn’t cause delay. From Sunday everybody can see the huge horse at the Baltazár Dezső Square.
