Hungary govt plans bigger budget shortfall in 2013 – paper

Budapest, October 3 (MTI) – The government has decided to target a bigger budget deficit next year, increasing it to 2.8 percent of gross domestic product from 2.2 percent, Magyar Nemzet daily reported on Wednesday.

Citing an unnamed government source, the paper said the 2.8 percent target was final, allowing up to 150 billion forints of extra space in the budget.
