Gyurcsany accuses PM Orban of campaign to incarcerate him – paper

Budapest, November 18 (MTI) – Ex-prime minister Ferenc Gyurcsany said in an interview with political magazine 168 Ora that Viktor Orban, Hungary’s prime minister, wanted to see him in jail.

In the magazine published on Thursday, Gyucsany said Orban saw him as a political threat and a personal enemy.

”Let’s not beat about the bush: Viktor Orban wants to put be in prison,” he said. “I’m still sleeping soundly despite the Fidesz manhunt; I’m not taking sleeping pills,” he said.

Speaking about the Socialist opposition party, Gyurcsany said he wanted to see the party unified and would do all he could to ensure it did.
