Election 2010 - Green LMP out to top 13pc in Budapest
<p>Budapest, October 2 (MTI) - The green Politics Can Be Different (LMP) party aims to get more votes in the capital in Sunday s ballot than the 13 percent it garnered in the April general election, LMP s candidate for Budapest mayor said on Sunday.</p>
Benedek Javor said his party was closing the campaign by organising public events across the city on Saturday.
The idea was to plan a "perfect day" for Javor in Budapest based on activities supporters said they would do in the city if it functioned up to its full potential.
"Budapest is a great city, it is great to live here, but it could be even better if more opportunities were tapped on," he said.
Javor s programmes included playing table football with supporters on a painted field in Moszkva ter, drinking coffee and having ice-cream on the Small Boulevard, taking a walk on Margaret Island and having his picture taken in front of parliament.
