Gov t to set up anti-terrorism centre
<p>Budapest, July 9 (MTI) - Hungary s government will establish a Terrorism Defence Centre as of September 1, the interior minister told MTI on Friday.</p>
Sandor Pinter said he has appointed Janos Hajdu, a former senior law enforcement official, to be in charge of setting up the new unit as a ministry commissioner on a six-month contract from June 21.
The commissioner will be responsible for planning and coordinating tasks related to the Centre and will report to the interior minister, Pinter said.
